Petite Marmotte is our cozy stylish studio apartment — the perfect little hideaway in the heart of Arc 1950. Warm, welcoming and cleverly designed, it offers everything you need for an easy, comfortable stay in the pedestrian village.

The living space includes a well-equipped open-plan kitchen, a dining area, and a lounge.

The coin montagne provides a snug sleeping area with bunk beds, and the main sleeping space can be arranged as twin beds or a comfortable double, depending on what you need. There's also a modern bathroom and plenty of storage for your stay. We absolutely love the views — a peaceful Alpine backdrop that makes mornings slow and evenings soft.

A fantastic location to enjoy a ski holiday or visit the mountains in the summer. The apartment is located in the sought after residence Le Refuge du Montagnard. The Residence has its own Lifestyle Manager in the building, who is here to help you with all your queries and give you the best tips on the area. It also has renovated common areas and benefits an exterior hot tub and indoor Sauna and steam room in the same building. The Sauna and steam room have been recently renovated and a great place to enjoy. Guests also benefit from the use of an indoor pool and heated outdoor pool (in the building across). Please note that the opening and closing times of the swimming pool, jacuzzi, hammam and sauna are from 10am - 8pm (in season). All apartments balconies in Le Refuge du Montagnard are closed for use at the present time. There is also internet, cable TV and a ski locker in the boot room. There is a parking space in the underground car park (additional cost of 98 euros for the week directly paid to the parking company). The car park is equipped with two charging points for TESLA electric vehicles and one charging point for all types of electric vehicles. High chair and cot available on request. Level of comfort: 4 Paradiski crystals The village of Arc 1950 is a unique concept of pedestrian village with superb facilities and being ski through...from the boot room, you access the piste straight...It is particularly easy with children as ski lessons with the ESF start from the village, with a maximum 3mns walk to reach the meeting point for the smaller ones. In the summer, there are many activities for children including daily events and many sportive activities for adults. The usual trekking and mountain bike riding but also archery, tennis, paragliding...The scenery is stunning and the outdoor swimming pools are a delight as a family too... From the village, you have direct access to a variety of itineraries for all levels that will allow you to cross different sites and enjoy magnificent views. These descents will provide you with great sensations in the Alpine mountains of Les Arcs. With its 149 kms of marked mountain itineraries accessible to all, a very wide choice of mountain bike disciplines is offered to you thanks to the 10 ski lifts accessible by bike. You can get all the information about the timetables and prices of the transport tickets offered at the ticket office of the ski lifts located to the right of the entrance to the Résidence du Hameau du Glacier. In the village, it is possible to hire mountain bikes for all levels in the various shops in the village where you will receive the best advice.Residents have access to a bicycle garage to store your equipment (bicycles are not allowed in the apartments). You must provide anti-theft equipment for each of your bikes, knowing that a set of security cameras are located at the entrance of the premises. In addition, the amount of electric bikes available has increased for your pleasure on the domain of Les Arcs. Arc 1950 has restaurants, a small supermarket and numerous shops. You can also visit the shops of Arc 2000 via the free gondola joining the two. It is located on the Paradiski area with 420km of slopes linking Les Arcs to La Plagne. We have owned in Arc 1950 since 2008 and are still completely in love with the village, having spent holidays in the village every year in the winter and the summer ever since. We started with a studio (we still have it so if you want to rent both together just let us know)...3 children came along and we have decided to invest in a 2 bed apartment which is definitely our secondhome!

Les Arcs 1950 in summer is a colorful, pedestrian‑only Alpine village surrounded by forests, peaks and wide‑open views. The cobbled streets, cafés and terraces give it a relaxed, friendly feel, while weekly events and family activities bring the village to life throughout the season. With miles of hiking and mountain‑bike trails on the doorstep, plus swimming pools, a spa and easy access to high‑mountain routes, it's a perfect base for both adventure and slow, sunny days. Everything you need sits just a few steps away, making 1950 a calm, convenient and beautifully self-contained summer escape.
