Woodstock trail for a ride in the forest

Starting from the top of Vallandry chairlift, Woodstock trail follows the line of the ski runs then joins a dirt track right in the heart of Plan Bois forest. Well-adapted to experienced mountain bikers, this Bike Park trail includes a number of raised turns in the forest. Over the 5.9 kilometer descent, you will enjoy a clear view of the Aiguille Rousse and the north face of Bellecôte glacier.

Route 66 for a family ride

The 23 kilometre long Route 66 trail offers the possibility of going off on a ½ day mountain bike outing. From Pré Saint Esprit in the Les Arcs area, you can hurtle down the runs all the way to Bourg-Saint-Maurice. En route, you will:

  • Enjoy a view of the Bec Rouge and the resort of Sainte-Foy Tarentaise;
  • Ride along the Isère river;
  • Pass close to the Hauts de Villaroger nature reserve.

The Kid Rock or Easy Rider mountain bike trails: the Bike Park for kids and beginners

To learn mountain biking at altitude, from Arc 1950, the Bike Park proposes two trails to experience your first thrills:

  • Kid Rock: starting from the Col de la Chal, this downhill trail gets you started on steeper slopes and patches of snow… A great way to start biking in the mountains!
  • Easy Rider: starting from Cachette chairlift, this track offers a fabulous view of the valley and goes through the fir trees in Mont-Blanc forest. The circuit is about 8 kilometres long.
