Arc 1950,
who are we?

How does the Arc 1950 Village work?

Arc 1950 is a unique pedestrian mountain village, made up of several residences, shops, restaurants and communal spaces. It operates through a collective organization that ensures the management, upkeep, promotion and animation of the village, summer and winter alike.

The ASL Arc 1950, at the heart of village management

The Association Syndicale Libre (ASL) Arc 1950 manages and coordinates a range of shared spaces, facilities and services within the village.

It works closely with the various co-ownership associations, their managing agents and syndic boards, owners, shopkeepers, operators, as well as with local and tourism stakeholders.

The ASL is responsible in particular for the upkeep and development of the facilities and shared spaces within its remit, as well as for the promotion, communication and animation of the village.

The Board, the ASL's Board of Directors

The ASL is administered by a Board, which serves as its Board of Directors. It is made up of 7 members, representing the collective interests of the ASL's members.

Since December 2025, the Chairman of the Board has been Patrick Debuire, whose term runs until December 2028.

The Board sets the ASL's overall direction, makes decisions within its remit and oversees their implementation together with the ASL's operational team.

A collective organization

Each co-ownership retains its own organization and remains responsible for managing its common areas. The ASL, for its part, is responsible for the elements and facilities within its area of competence.

The smooth running of Arc 1950 thus relies on ongoing collaboration between the village's various stakeholders, ensuring a pleasant, safe and consistent environment for everyone.

Promoting Arc 1950 and bringing it to life

The ASL is also responsible for raising the profile of the Arc 1950 Village.

It carries out promotional and communication activities for the village, in France and abroad, in order to showcase the destination and its full range of tourist offerings.

The ASL is also in charge of all the activities and events organized within the village, summer and winter alike: activities for families, sporting and cultural events, shows, seasonal highlights and other events that punctuate life in Arc 1950.

These initiatives are carried out in collaboration with shopkeepers, tourism partners and local stakeholders in order to offer a lively and attractive experience for owners and visitors alike.

A village that belongs to all those who bring it to life

Arc 1950 runs thanks to the involvement and complementary roles of many stakeholders: owners, co-ownerships, the ASL, shopkeepers, operators, partners and local stakeholders.

Each one contributes, in its own area, to preserving the quality of the village and making Arc 1950 a lively, welcoming destination, summer and winter alike.
