In the heart of the French Alps, you'll find almost 180 kilometres of mountain trails to explore - on a conventional mountain bike or an electric-assisted one. For visitors in July and August, be sure to check out Woodstock or Route 66, two of the Bike Park’s most popular trails.

Woodstock in the Alps

Accessible from the top of the Vallandry chairlift, the incredible Woodstock bike path descends for 5.9 kilometres through the ski slopes and the Plan Bois forest. As an added bonus, this mountain route offers panoramic views of the Aiguille Rousse and the north face of the Bellecôte massif.

Route 66: a bike trip for all to enjoy

With 23 kilometres to cover, Route 66 is the perfect mountain bike route for a family outing. This marked path is perfectly safe for the little ones and the scenery is sure to win over visitors from all walks of life. On this trail you’ll experience:

  • Breathtaking views of the Bec Rouge and the Sainte-Foy Tarentaise resort
  • An unmissable stop-off at the Hauts de Villaroger nature reserve
  • And let's not forget a visit to the Arc 1950 village!

Route 66 is open to mountain bikers of all levels, from beginners to the more experienced. If you don’t have your own bike, you can hire one (electric-assisted or VTTAE) in one of the specialist shops in the Arc 1950 Village.
