LES ARCS MUSIC FESTIVAL

The 53rd edition of the Académie-Festival des Arcs will take place from July 21 to 31. This year’s theme is: “Bridges: Classical and Jazz in Resonance.”

The festival will highlight the close connections between these two musical worlds, which have continuously interacted and enriched one another throughout the 20th century. Through this idea of “bridges,” the program will explore how classical music and jazz meet, influence each other, and evolve together.

From the swing of Gershwin’s concertos to the sophistication of Bernstein’s writing, through improvisation and contemporary interpretations of Mozart and Bach, this edition will offer a rich program of concerts and musical events dedicated to these artistic exchanges.
