The ski area

arc1950-domaine-skiableSituated within the les Arcs area and at the heart of the vast ski area of Paradiski, Arc 1950 offers ski lovers an incredible playground. An immense area of astonishing diversity that combines wide arcing turns with endless downhill runs.

From the Village, just 1 lift takes you to Arc 1800, 1600, 2000 or the Vanoise Express (the cable car linking Les Arcs and La Plagne) and it takes only 3 lifts to reach the Aiguille Rouge (3226m), the highest point in the les Arcs area in a landscape  that will take your breath away. Beginners haven’t been forgotten with 41 blue runs in the Les Arcs area alone and one of the longest beginner pistes in Europe, the 7 km la Foret piste at Vallandry.

Those in search of splendour have only to take the Vanoise Express to find themselves looking down on the picturesque Ponthurin Valley from 380m facing the unique view of Mont Blanc, the Swiss and Italian Alps and the Beaufortain range.
