Jules : age 16, Avignon, France

Personal favourite : the Freestyle Session

Will come back : to see his friends from the Snow park again.

Recommends : the night-time skiing

I made some new friends last year, there was even one guy from Sweden.

The week just flew by, I was out skiing all the time or doing something cool in the village until the end of the evening, or even later.

We won everything at the Poker night and finished third in the Wii contest.

I have to practise shooting for the biathlon: I get a bit over-excited. Mum didn’t have to tell me once to “go out and get some fresh air”!

INVENT
magical moments

Ingrid : age 8, Lausanne, Switzerland.

Personal favourite : the Marshmallow Party at the fire pit.

Will come back : to improve her skiing.

Recommends : the Tandem Massage with Mum at the Deep Nature Spa

I’m just learning to ski and I sometimes get scared.

With Spirit ski school, I had a really nice instructor who helped me to learn gradually and I got down a whole red run.

Mummy took me with her for a tandem massage at the spa as a reward and my Dad and I went tobogganing.

There was entertainment every evening on the theme of the Far North. We even finished second in the Mölkky competition.

Daddy was laughing so hard, I never saw him like that before.

Paul-Loup : Professional racing driver and student in Political Science

Personal favourite : Arc 1950’s architecture: “a magical village!”

Will come back : To hone his physical condition at the end of the sporting season

Recommends : Mountain biking down from Col de la Chal to Arc 1950… stopping off to admire Mont Blanc.

Paul-Loup has been coming to Les Arcs in both winter and summer to charge his batteries since he was just two years old. He climbs mountains in the same style as he climbed onto the podium of the Le Mans 24 hours (LMP2 category, for those in the know).

This summer, he will make the most of his summer holiday to breathe in some fresh mountain air to help him with his high level studies.
