Les Arcs
The Wild West touches down at 1950 m! The Village plays host to cowboys and Indians for a great array of shows – you can expect stunts, humour and surprises! Children can choose their camp - wear the Indians’ ancestral war paint or dress up as a cowboy! Several activities await them - pony rides, an introduction to archery, Indian story telling under the tepee, an introduction to handling whips and lassos etc. As you cross the village, look out for the notorious Blacky Drunk, mounted on his un-trainable bison! El Sheriff, astride his frisky mount, and Miss Gus perched on her recalcitrant mule – will the two of them be enough to arrest him? Be present at the most unlikely gun fight in the history of the West - you might just be the hero. As for shows, the blacksmith has a demonstration of his art and his technique for breaking in horses in store for you. The Chevauchée Fantastique (Stagecoach - John Ford’s western) will astonish the audience with a terrific horse race combining stunts and humour in the heart of the village. At the end of the day, you will watch the Grand Finale, "The Duel". Rival gangs from the Village face each other for the booty from the bank robbery. Will the sheriff and his posse be able to stop the fighting? Take a bet on the biggest names in the West! After these crazy events, get together for an evening around the fire in the Village. A day not to be missed on any account. WEATHER - PRESS - JOBS - PARTNERS - SEMINARS - BROCHURE REQUEST - CONTACTS - DISCLAIMER - SITE MAP |
